Operation: Inner Space

At a glance, it starts off as an Asteroids clone with collectible desktop icons, though as you progress, additional hazards are put into the game and before you know it, you're caught in the middle of a faction war (your allegiances are based on which ship you began the game as)

Hell the battle mechanics in Persona 5 are so damn good I'd love to see some SMT games with it too.

But don't remake the music unless there's higher quality sources of the soundtrack. The ost is so damn atmospheric and perfectly compliments the horror vibe and slower gameplay.

I might even be open to a change of perspective for it even since the slower pace and more difficult enemies make it a very different game over the sequels and turning it into a full out horrific fps dungeon crawl might work.

A small little game called Re:Volt. You get to play with remote control cars with insane weapons like firecracker missiles and shit. I'd love to see that game remade with modern graphics, newer weapons and even including some cool new things, like maybe with quadcopters or something.
