Zone of the Enders but full on, remake, with todays graphics, would be SICK. Dark Cloud & Dark Chronicle as well.
I want New Vegas to be remastered, in that I want the original team to come back and complete their vision that they couldn't due to time constraints. Game is already in my top 5 favorite games of all time. Imagine if they completed it.
It would have to be on an engine that wasn't dogshit. Even Bethesda had to tell them that they had it limit their plans because of the engine.
Give me The Saboteur remaster please. PLEASE.
- Battlefield 2 and 2142 (More squad and teamwork focused. 90% of the server usually was in squads) - C&C Tiberium Sun w/ firestorm - The Settlers Heritage of Kings (For a 2006 game, it still holds up) - L4D1. Had so much fun playing it with friends and its the first game I got on steam.
I still want to see the original Legend of Zelda remade with like Wind Waker-type graphics, top-down and map-sliding still but 100% updated
Mercenaries : Playground of Destruction
Oh yeah, this.
SWAT 4, TESIV, GTA:SA and VC, BF2, and Midnight Club LA because why not
Eternal Darkness - Sanity's Requiem Heart of Darkness as well
Azure Dreams.
Star Wars Episode I Racer
there's a bunch i could probably think of, but in the moment i was just thinking about how cool red steel 2 was and also how dated it probably is at this point
Blake stone.
I know that Silent Hill 2 is already a perfect masterpiece and they already fucked up a remaster once, but an ACTUAL remake, one that's faithful to the original, and with the exact same voice acting, would be amazing. Let's get people back into survival horrors.
A remaster of 007 Nightfire would be sweet
kirby & the amazing mirror, the metroidvania one, on the modern kirby framework with 4 player online co-op
Warzone 2100 - Awesome concept being able tp design your own units. Forged Batallion is in the spirit of Warzone with unit design but plays like CNC but would still love to see a propper Warzone 2100 remake/remaster/new game. Dark Reign The Future of War - Awesome RTS. Played it a lot in my childhood. Loved it then but as I got older, all the issues like AI pathfinding became mpre obvious. Units would start moving across the map and then suddenly stop ro contemplate their menial existence as the rest ran off to die.
The first Unreal. I just want to revisit the magical lands of Na Pali.
Silent Storm with the refined gameplay and detailed customization of XCOM 2

(Maybe even a bonus campaign for Snake's Revenge, or an alternative campaign path that is closer to the NES version with the forests.) MGS1-3 Metal Gear AC!D Peace Walker Black Box Era NFS games. F-117A Stealth Fighter 2.0. Gunship 2000 Metal Arms: Glitch In The System Tiny Tank Battle Network series Ace Combat series.
Metroid Prime Trilogy rebuilt from the ground up for Nintendo Switch. Keep the gameplay for each title exactly as it is, just remake all the art assets and push Nintendo's new device to its limits like Retro did with the Gamecube and the Wii.
The first Unreal. Solus Project does pretty good and tonally matches everything I'd want, but that's it. Unreal 2 felt like a bastardization of what made the original good and it had nothing exciting about it. It looked like a dump, the AI was frustrating, you had to cheat just to walk above a tiptoe, and it just felt like this horrible drag the entire time. It was like a bad Halo. Its like yeah, you have tons of similar games that really captivate the excitement of this wide open enviroment, like Serious Sam, Painkiller, Dusk, etc. But Unreal had this unique feeling and combat that made it feel like a daunting task. And in the ending you were still completely screwed. It had this soundtrack that was excellent in pretty much every way, it looked and sounded amazing. The enemies were challenging yet intuitive. The levels were incredibly dynamic and flowed really well. It just has the right mix.
Red Alert 2, not remade, just remastered to actually run on modern systems. People are working on remaking it in an open engine but their efforts seem to be almost glacial due to technical issues. Its sad that we're seeing lesser known games from that era getting huge remakes and yet because its EA, they will hold onto C&C with a deathgrip and never ever let anybody touch their IP and putting out something without microtransactions and alternate continuous revenue streams is too risky for their blood these days. [editline]30th January 2018[/editline] I'm damn supprised nobody has made a blaitant ripoff of black and white though, maybe its too obscure but we have GOOD motion controls now, it would be an absolute great game for VR, or at the very least, modern hardware would let the game be much less glitchy and more grand in scale. The Curse of Monkey Island!
Vice-Project Doom for 3DS, Snow Bros, Guardian Legend, King of Demons (SNES)... There's so much more That i'd list, but another time.
Resident Evil: Outbreak, both file 1 & 2
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Victoria 2

With actual AI though instead of everything just being scripted
