Nah, usually everything from the visuals s to the level editors are far superior instead. Also, mods.

This is still BS though. Not only that but minor DLC/map packs does not a system seller make.

Epic Games used to be really good at it; Gears of War got almost an hour and a half of extra content and Unreal Tournament got entire expansion packs for free that the consoles never got. Nowadays it's pretty rare.
