Anyway: I've posted a source (which cites several sources) that states that false reports of rape are around 5%. Plus, only about half of rapes are reported in the first place. So even if a significant portion of that 250,000 per year were false (even though it's actually only about 5%), you can still treat the number of rapes that occur as being about double the number reported.' Also: a majority would be significant, but not everything significant is a majority. By "significant", we mean enough to change the results drastically, like from 250 k to 200 k. I probably should have mentioned that when I originally brought up the word "significant", sorry for the confusion.
