Sure that could help, but precautions should not affect how much fun you have. Sensible precautions would be to get a lift home instead of walking, and having someone you trust with you while you're drunk at a party. But regardless of that it isn't the victims responsibility to take precautions, and people shouldn't say it was their fault for not doing x, y and z to prevent it.

i don't have that much of a problem with feminists, they can believe what they want, but they just act like obnoxious assholes most of the time. they never really talk about anything else, i've never seen a feminist give a fuck about LGBT rights, even the more rational feminists. they just tend to act like feminism is the only issue and lgbt stuff doesn't matter, civil rights doesn't matter, and only feminism matters. feminism is on the backburner compared to lgbt rights. that, and they have a hard time respecting (not agreeing with) anyone's opinion that's slightly different, and they just laugh at people and call them assholes instead of trying to be friendly and pointing them in the right direction.
