I found Mafia 2's ending really well done and adds in some [sp]sadness[/sp] to it.

Portal 2 had an amazing ending. Because right when you thought it was over BOOM another part. THEN BOOM another amazing part.
Oh god dammit I didn't know that.
That's because I made it up.
I quite enjoyed the ending to freelancer since it was such a large lead up and the fact you go to do whatever you wanted at the end.
The whole way through the game Trent and that woman flirted with each other and yet nothing ever happened between them. The last mission was hard, but not even coming close to how hard the Nomad Shipyard mission was. You had to destroy Nomad Warships while being blown to pieces by everything from Rheinland fighters to battleships. The difficulty was nothing like that of Starlancer though. In SL 1/4 of the way into the game you have to destroy this infuriating laser platform which tracks you and destroys your craft instantly. A better version of it features in the last mission as well, which was annoying. Another hard mission involved staying in formation with your squadron while flying metal hunks called Soviet bombers. You then had to blow up a battleship by spamming torpedoes into its rear. If you weren't pissed off by this point you then had to return to your battleship, select a ship and destroy loads of incoming missiles, bombers, and fighters.
Mass Effect 2
Those eyes...
Mass Effect 2 [editline]7th August 2011[/editline]
Mass Effect 2
you know whats up
Tabula Rasa :(
Pretty much the entire ending sequence for Dead Space 2. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia (I love this entire game for some reason. Even though she isn't a Belmont, Shanoa is definitely my favorite character.) LA Noire also had a great ending. Heavy Rain's True ending. Alan Wake's ending. Beyond Good and Evil. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
That's because I made it up.
You evil tiny man.
Certainly Ocarina of Time. The 3DS version was the first Zelda game I'd played (I know..., love them now.
red dead redemption, easily
the part were you ride down the mountain after [sp]saving your son from the bear[/sp] with that music was easily the best part of any game I've ever played
Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty:Black Ops
the part were you ride down the mountain after [sp]saving your son from the bear[/sp] with that music was easily the best part of any game I've ever played
I found the part where [sp]you just open the barn and live John's final moment[/sp] to be so much better. When it happened I just kept telling myself "no no no no NO!" and tried to restart my 360 in hopes of [sp]John still being alive[/sp]. :saddowns: Then I raged and restarted the story after finding out I get to[sp]play as GIDDY UP! YEEHAW! mr. jack or whatever[/sp]
Episode 2. Incredibly emotional. :( I like how it wasn't a cliffhanger as such, it was just such a depressing and shocking thing to end on. Brilliantly done.
Super Mario 64. I cried when i saw the cake
Dead Space 2. [sp]bad guy on his knees with a javelin in his throat, you walk behind him with the gun, and you get to choose yourself where you shoot him. Talk about immersion[/sp]

Portal 2, Episode 2, and Amnesia for me.
Bioshock 2. Made the game worth it. [editline]7th August 2011[/editline] The good ending that is, manly tears.
I think I might be the only one who didn't think Portal 2's ending was fantastic. It was a good ending to a great game, but I don't really think it was marvelous.
Killzone 3. /sarcasm
I liked Postal 2's ending But seriously I loved Red Dead Redemption's endings. They really did a good job at emotional impact [sp]but unfortunately you have to play as the son after[/sp]
Smip
Diablo 2, Because it makes the game start over.
For me it's Braid, Eschalon:Book 2 and Psychonauts
