sorry :(
Why would you try to talk about programming, especially something as complex as a video game, if you don't understand the first thing about it
Because the worst thing that could happen is that I misunderstood and somebody would correct me?

Good = Nice looking houses and everyone is pimp) None of it ever came into the game..
Just pledged $33.
Bit shit they're asking for £550,000 for Linux support when they're using freakin' Unity which can deploy to Linux anyway.. :|
5,600 in 19 hours. Can they do it?
Easily. They've got this in the bag.
so am i the only one thought peter sounded like a porno director at about 1:55
I felt bad for Peter for people for shit talking him. I don't know why but he reminds me of a big kid and I can't stay mad at him. Glad this got funded

Using it for a prototype allows for quick gameplay iteration and a flashy demo to show to help with kickstarter pledges.
While we’ve been looking to see if some of the existing engines such as Unity could speed up the prototype or later development phases for GODUS, it’s also the case that with the right team simply going back to basics can yield extraordinary dividends in a remarkable short space of time. Those basics initially were a scripting language called Python and a low-level graphics library. We are fortunate in having a passionate and talented development team lead by the superb, experienced Senior Engineer Gary Leach.
this should have failed
this should have failed
"I don't like this game and therefor it deserves to fail and burn" :downs:
Peter is one of the only people willing to risk making an original game, rather than making a CoD clone or generic console FPS. He has big ideas and i respect him for trying to do something different.
