You do realize you're saying this about a Duke Nukem game, right? That's like saying Sonic 06 was the best Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2. It's complete bullshit to say.
nope this game sucks
They aren't releasing it in America until Tuesday because retailers traditionally do not put new games on the shelves until Tuesday, and they'd bitch and moan if American's could buy it on Steam 4 days before they had it stocked. It releases internationally first because they wanted to get this game out to audiences as soon as possible which was this week and other nations' retailers don't do that silly Tuesday thing.

What.
Learn 2 Read the post.
So how much money has this cost so far?
All of a sudden, us Americans start bitching when things are different in favor for other people.
Got to love my countries arrogance.
Releasing a game at different dates on different regions on a digital distributer is dumb in general.
hahaha after the credits it shows you a frozen over hell and pigs flying around everywhere. LOL
Not long after this news spread around the world, North Korea launched 86 Prototype Cluster-nukes at the nations of the world.
I don't understand the hype about this game. I just never found the original any fun at all.
[editline]10th June 2011[/editline]
The original was like Doom with a few bad jokes from a bad voiceactor thrown into it.
Released on my birthday too :gbsmith:
Happy fucking best birthday to you mate!
Pigs fly, hell freezes over and I get laid.
Damn... I guess that means we can no longer say "DNF status" when referring to things that take forever to get released.
Guess I'll say "Black Mesa Forever status" instead.
Game was a "Meh" game. Cheap jokes get old very fast. It feels like the developer just threw it up because they were expected to release it. I want my $80 back.

What.
Fuck.
:suicide:
IGN (yes, IGN) were utterly scathing in their... article announcing they'd have a review soon. Doesn't bode well for reviews. However I suspect with a game like this, enjoyment is very much more in the eye of the beholder.

Instantbuy
i'm waiting until this goes on sale for like 5 bucks
I don't understand why people are all disappointed from this
DN3D was a pretty much generic shooter with some humor and extra features, and this is pretty much the modernization of the same thing, so what were people expecting exactly?
it's ironic that america receives it last

So I heard this game was a dud.
Lol at all the Americans complaining about getting this game late. Welcome to the world of Europeans / Australians, we always get games 2 or 3 days later than the US.
And for Australians games cost twice as much as they do in USA.
I still refuse to believe it until I play it.
Guys, you do realise this is a flop right? It didn't live up to the hype at all, it's going to be forgotten after a month.
I really doubt the game that took 12 years that just barely survived and got released will ever be forgotten.
I loved the cod reference at the end.
I shall buy it when it goes on sale. I expect a typical 90's shooter.
Though it looks kinda cool, from what i've seen it still falls into the trap of many modern shooters, and doesn't feel as Duke as Duke 3D was. We can only hope that someone makes another Duke game that is even more Duke than 3D was.
I miss the Atomic Health and the carrying of tons of guns.
Finished it yesterday.
I took longer finishing Portal 2.
[editline]11th June 2011[/editline]
Multiplayer is classic, hectic, Duke 3D fun though.
[editline]11th June 2011[/editline]
Also, the Xbox version suffers HORRENDOUS frame-rate issues through some parts of the game, even multiplayer.
Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project is better than Forever.
I recommend to play it.
