Don't game companies typically go for Quadros anyway? Still, I kinda wish I had one of them.
as someone buried in quadros for render work I don't really know why they'd do that, always seems games suck at recognizing the drivers and get really janky over it despite being powerful cards
I hate myself a bit for feeling very smug about this
What are you talking about? It's the greatest chance to feel smug without feeling any guilt.

I don't mind buying a cheap ass gpu used for gaming and only keeping it for a year but I bought my 1070 for $400 at the end of 2016 and it costs $500 now.
"20-30% below retail" "only used for less than 6 months" paying way too much for 'only lightly used haha' near-future burnouts
Good miners would have undervolted and had them running as cool as possible. They'll get hotter during graphical loads.

Is it so he can scalp them back when he purchased them at 1000$+ per card, or is he having them turn into molten silicon because he's being a dumbass with overclocking?

That doesn't sound feasible at all. You'd run out of electrical outlets after 5 PCs were set up.
As in, all at once? That doesn't sound feasible at all. You'd run out of electrical outlets after 5 PCs were set up.
you put like 10 cards to a rig, and you really don't have to worry about monitors or anything
