Too bad they made one of the nicest looking SNES games look terrible with the iOS/android port

It looks dumb, but to be fair I could reasonably compare those Gau sprites to the PSP version of, say, FFIV. But even then, the shading isn't as complex as it was there, so those battle sprites are [i]still[/i] lazy in comparison to other porting work Square's done.

Seeing as they ported the IOS versions of III and IV DS, it was only a matter of time before they did this. Maybe someone will figure out a way to mod the classic graphics back into the game? I mean, I'm not one to complain about graphics, especially in a port of a 20+ year old game, but the "remastered" graphics look like stock graphics from some weird RPG Maker offshoot.

FF7 was moddable. Let's hope that this is too.
