Just bought GR + expansions and Vegas 2. Already had Conviction/Chaos Theory cause, who doesn't have CHAOS FUCKING THEORY! One of my all time favorite games.

Works fine for me on Vista 64-bit too. Not sure why you're having issues but I don't think they're Vista related.
I own it on a CD, and it tells me I can't run it with my OS, which is 64 vista. Maybe the steam version will work though, since the CD is from when the game just came out.

Are the Ghost Recon games worth it? I had one of the spinoffs (summit strike 2) for the original Xbox and found it decent, but I haven't played it in a while.

The retail version used the star-force copy protection from what I remember, that doesn't work in Vista/Win7. That's not in the Steam version, so it works fine.

I agree, I simply compared the 2 because of the "realism" factor.
This deal is amazing. It's like every Splinter Cell game for ~20. That is an incredible deal.

Seriously though, it's so fuckin dumbed down it's not even funny. I did the first 3 missions guns blazing. It's best described as a 3rd person action game.

Try playing in infiltration mode, Deniable Ops or Coop. They moved stealth into that game mode.
I enjoy Conviction and its add-on, I've played it both stealthy and guns blazing. Both have its risks and rewards so I don't see how its destroyed the series or something.
Should I get EndWar and/or Lockdown? Already getting RS3, might get Vegas 2 too.
Vegas 2 must be my number one shooter. It was the only "realistic" one I had for quite some time. Played it to the death and beyond.
Love conviction, it's much more fluid and I don't get why you all complain about how it's ruined anything. I've played every single splinter cell game and loved them, this one is slightly different but I also think it's much easier to control. You can play stealthily or not, just as I recall you could in any of them.

Also, bought Vegas 2. Am considering buying GRAW2 as well. Played the Xbox version, not sure how good the PC one is.
