Looking beautiful Ever since GTA IV every open world game without endorphin or car deformation seems slightly disappointing Can't wait for the comeback of murder simulation
I will die if it is not a VTOL jet.
It appears to ve a F-16 with 2 tails, so its not VTOL But the GTA5 trailer did have a Hydra(Harrier) looking jet in it
To me, the graphics in the trailer looked pretty much the same as GTA IV's, but these look muuuch better. And IMO improved graphics is kind of important, it makes it feel more like a real sequel rather than an expansion
If they revamped the graphics, then I sure as hope to fuck they optimize it better than what they did with GTA IV. This looks nice though, hope it will be fun. I'll probably buy it if it doesn't reek of a bad port.

Yeah if the PC version comes out and runs as well as MP3, I'll love rockstar forever
I just hope this is a next gen San Andreas. They seem to be bringing back the more whacky elements with the Jets and Bikes etc, just hope you can attack tractors to things and swing them around to make a tractor tornado etc like you could in San Andreas. So many fun memories with that game
There is still a disgusting lack of AA which ruins it for me.
well it's still in development and probably console pics
well it's still in development and probably console pics
Why on earth would they use console pics for press shots?
Why on earth would they use console pics for press shots?
because arguably more people will buy it on consoles nothing against PC but most people are acquainted with consoles over PCs for gaming
MP3 did a fuckton of technical wizardry which you could only do in a linear game (Like having cutscenes every 20 seconds in which to load the next section)
Having the same guns from ingame in a cutscene Thank the fucking lord somebody actually did it
MP3 did a fuckton of technical wizardry which you could only do in a linear game (Like having cutscenes every 20 seconds in which to load the next section)
The unskippable cutscenes were actually bik videos, not ingame footage.
It looks a lot more colorful than GTAIV, which is great. I hated how dull IV looked.
Max Payne 3 ran extremely well and it was on the same engine. Then again, MP3 was not an open world game.
I was running it on DX11 with 35fps as average. Then put it down to DX9 and it looked like shit.
I was running it on DX11 with 35fps as average. Then put it down to DX9 and it looked like shit.
Get a better computer. Seriously, I'm still on 3-years-ago-top end hw and it ran at 60 fps with no drops maxed out in dx11.
GTA 4 looked like blurry & muddy garbage, visually the game was a train wreck. GTA V looks so much better.
I remember people being blown away by the opening trailers :v: It's amazing how fast tech advances. Also this is the game I want the most right now.
Why on earth would they use console pics for press shots?
because they haven't begun porting it to PC :v:
because arguably more people will buy it on consoles nothing against PC but most people are acquainted with consoles over PCs for gaming
Way to completely miss the point.
Please PLEASE be as optimized as Just Cause 2 was
The depth of field and motion blur looks brilliant... I hope you can use the DoF for movies and screenshots in the movie editor (assuming there is one this time too?)
The visual fidelity looks about the same as GTA IV, but the colour correction and post-processing is a million times better. GTA IV just looked like brown-and-bloom, undercontrasted garbage; Didn't help that they tried to mimmick anti-aliasing by just blurring everything.
Why the fuck weren't there planes in GTA IV. I'm poor as hell and the only way I could afford gta IV was on the summer sale, I was pretty irked to find no planes..
Because you can get from one side of the map to the other in one minute with a helicopter.
Rate me boxes or whatever, but why was there such a bigass difference in map size between GTA: SA and GTA IV???
I remember people being blown away by the opening trailers :v: It's amazing how fast tech advances. Also this is the game I want the most right now.
I still think the opening cutscene to GTAIV is brilliant to set up how hopeful Niko was to move to the land of opportunity and how he heard nothing but good things, then he slowly finds out he's no better off in America than where he used to live.
Rate me boxes or whatever, but why was there such a bigass difference in map size between GTA: SA and GTA IV???
Because GTA IV is in Liberty City, which as the name suggests, is just a city.
Get a better computer. Seriously, I'm still on 3-years-ago-top end hw and it ran at 60 fps with no drops maxed out in dx11.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 uhhh fairly sure that my computer is capable of running any new game without any problems
Finally the Cheetah is back  now we just need the BF Injection and Stinger
There is still a disgusting lack of AA which ruins it for me.
That's because all screenshots are from the Xbox 360 unless otherwise stated.

You said you ran it on high settings with DX11 in 35 FPS, I don't see the problem there.
