I just hope to god they fixed the horrible 3rd person animations, like god damn that was bad
Jesus fucking christ why do people have to pick up tiny little faults with the game then make out it was horribly game breaking. It was a fun game and I enjoyed it probably because I didn't go around the game squealing about little imperfections.

Did you read it correctly? That's the only thing that bugged me but the rest of the game was great, the gameplay was responsive and felt amazing it also was hard to put down at the best of times.
I always wanted to try dead Island. I've heard it's like Borderlands, awesome with friends, not so when solo.
I never got to buying it though. I regret i didn't pick it up during the summer sale.

Every game is fun with friends
The article mentions dynamic weather, and I was reminded of that level in Left 4 Dead 2 where it's constantly raining but periodically the rain will pick up and be really intense and limit your view. I want more games to do that.
Hard Rain was definitely my favourite level in L4D2 by quite a bit.
Am I the only one that finds the word riptide funny?
They never really gave any indication that it was going to be like that at all though. The problem is a lot of people made a short-sighted assumption based off the first teaser for the game and never bothered to follow up.
Long before the teaser there were screenshots and promises of an incredibly in depth zombie survival game with a cutting edge cutting system. It promised a lot and seemed too ambitious which is why I wasn't surprised when it suddenly faded away. Then out of nowhere the game was rekindled but with barely any of the features they said it would have.
the fighting was amazing
I think this is the one of the few video games in which I get a little panicked on, the part of the game where you get into the Jungle always creeps me out for some reason. It's probably when you first encounter the Butcher in that little village and he just runs towards you screaming as loud as it can.
And there are some parts where just walking down corridors in the prison and you can hear all of those Zombies in the distance moaning seems to get my nerves on edge.

IIRC the cutting system was removed because playtesters didn't notice any real difference between when it was on and when it was off, so they just figured it was wasted space and removed it.
I liked dead island, obviously it had it's faults i won't defend it on that front, but overall i had hours of enjoyment with it both single and multiplayer.
The major gripe i had was how piss poor the guns were, i wanted them to be a hell of a lot rarer but at the same time not completely useless, something like condemned criminal origins would have been better imo.
Dont think i'll get this, the story was pretty shit and uninteresting and this seems to just contiunue it.
I played through dead island 3 times with my brother, it's funny as hell! The more bugs there were the better the game was. Oh god run upstairs on a long stairway on the xbox version and spam jump... After 85 hours of gameplay time on my purna char I was still laughing like an maniac. You bounce all around! I was crying so many great bugs and funny possibilities dead island did.
One of my major problems with Dead Island is that weapons broke stupidly quickly.
Hope later on the devs change the survivors' clothes. They could have found clothes while looting off-screen or at least make their clothes torn and worn so it looks like they've been through a zombie apocalypse.
One of my major problems with Dead Island is that weapons broke stupidly quickly.
Everything was manufactured by the company that produces firearms in Farcry 2.
I didn't like the original at all. It got so tedious I never bothered finishing it.
