Maybe because that theory doesn't make very much sense either? They've already publicly announced the new delivery system, why would they do something like this just to announce TF2 will be the first onto it? Why make a whole new model, when they could use the oodles of rocket models they already have if it's just a generic "rockets are fast and so is our new download service" advertisement? Why call them Grockets? My guess is that it's Uber Update Pt2 adding in all that stuff we saw in the F2P trailer + More stuff. Either that or it's something with 40k somehow... as in Groks + Rockets... I dunno that's the more fanciful one.

okay, new theory: the Tinkering Update. the Engineer built a rocket. it didn't end well. Classes get weapons and hats they they built themselves. I forsee the Junkyard Justice Pack and maybe the Tesla Pack and Pyro Aviation Pack
It's obviously raid mode where players will have to fight waves upon waves of aliens, you have to prevent them from destroying the redmond / blutarch's castle by pushing them all the way back to their ovale spaceship, where you then have to battle a boss, when you kill him, you win and next map cycles.
