about those pre-order bonus cars, are they early access or exclusively for pre-order?
as far as i understand you just start with them instead, but i dont really know.
[t]http://puu.sh/aSMlY.png[/t] ???
Oh wow, so now Ubisoft puts a Gold edition by rule in any future or recently released game?
only thing it has over regular is season pass too... I really don't hope they start shitting dlcs for this.
I was a little excited for this but if they're going to be this stupid with the pricing then there's a better likelihood of them wiping my ass than me buying their game. The fact that I would have to put up with UPlay on top of it all just further devalues it as a product in my eyes.
The more this game flops the more satisfaction I have. My ex was super excited for this. It tastes great.
I would much rather have a Driver: San Francisco sequel. I believe this started life as that.
It pretty much is that though. The handling feels really similar, the story is really similar and it playing it almost everything reminded me of that game. It doesn't have Tanner, but you're still a guy who's working for the FBI and is working undercover.
Why is there such love for Driver: San Francisco? That game wasn't very good at anything
Why is there such love for Driver: San Francisco? That game wasn't very good at anything
But it was? It had handling that felt good, a story that was well done and the shifting mechanic was really neat and fun to use.
The multiplayer was an absolute blast, too. I've never had more fun in a demo.
I played the beta and had a good time, but after driving for awhile it may get boring. But the game is called "The Crew" so it's probably better with friends, but no one I knew got into the beta.
I wanna get in on this, hell. I even made a playlist made of Carpenter Brut, Perturbator and Lazerhawk to fit the trailer :U

The car physics look like absolute trash from what I've seen. I'd rather have a simulating game than an arcade-feeling racing game.
Why is there such love for Driver: San Francisco? That game wasn't very good at anything
But it's got Beetles in it!
The car physics look like absolute trash from what I've seen. Yeah, both sort of err on the side of arcade action, but there's a point where having to deal with realism (without any of the tactility that driving an actual car provides) is annoying.
