QUAKECON 2011 Steam Sale -- Four Days of Special Deals - Sensationalist Headlines

The TF2 items makes me sad. They should give The Original for who has any Quake game on Steam and the Pip-Boy for anyone who has any Fallout game on Steam. I have FO3 but I don't have NV and I don't have money to buy it right now. Sucks.

Holy shit, The European price for Skyrim is 49,99 this is the first time I've seen them price something correctly.

On another note, where is the livestream of Carmack? :(

Said this in the General Games thread but I'll say it here as well. Get Skyrim retail unless you're going to sell the hat to cover the cost, or really want that hat. Because retail's usually cheaper, and if you preorder now you'll miss out on promotionals that will matter more in Skyrim than a TF2 hat will. If you have the dosh wait for the Collectors Edition, the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games always have really nice collector's editions.

They say a new sale everyday, they aren't going to have a sale on a game that has a promo right? I'd be mad if I bought Brink or Quake 4 and then it goes on sale.

You know Aussies, we are charged alot because we can actually afford it. As someone said on the first page, our minimum wage is alot higher than the minimum in the US. Publishers set prices high so as to be competitive with the retail market, although I'd like a base price internationally, this is just the way it is. So tempted to buy Quake 4. I've been waiting for it to be on Steam for the longest time because Amazon had it at $40 for the longest time.

Alright, I bought the Ultimate Doom. Pretty good, but the controls are wierd.

Doom 3, Resurrection of Evil, Quake 4, and a bunch of mission packs for $30. Running Doom 3 with sikkmod, it looks incredible. Great sale. :dance:
