This will make a boost in Nigga Dats Kawaii sprays
How will having more classes make you better than the other players? I'm curious.
It won't. When I say it's like a free-to-play game, I mean in the "pay money and get more inventory slots!" sense, rather than being pay-to-win. That is, charging money for something you'd think would be pretty trivial to patch in. I wouldn't really care about it if this was a free-to-play game but it's a full price retail game.
Dear Call of Duty, Please die already. Thanks Everyone.
hating cod is so 2012, get on with the times and jump on the EA hate bandwagon instead!
The first Black Ops was legitimately a good game. Black Ops 2 was kinda my last hope for the series. Sadly, it didn't deliver. Already knowing that MW4 is on it's way, it's fair to say that the CoD series is officially dead to me. That's coming from someone who has played every single one and enjoyed them somewhat too.
when did we discuss the pricetag? we're discussing microtransactions he's right
It's generally more okay to have microtransactions in a free game. Should be obvious.
What is the target audience of this? Someone who likes this kind of thing probably wouldn't be playing Call of Duty in the first place.
People who just want to mess around and have some silly fun. I'd also imagine it'd be pretty good for trolling "1337 mlg" types.
you dont "have" to pay additional fees????????
Maps aren't free fyi [editline]16th March 2013[/editline]
The first Black Ops was legitimately a good game. The only thing that makes me not buy it is the fact that no one will play it once a new call of duty comes out.
its different because valve!
Valve is good because they have strict always-online drm with a broken offline mode and free-to-play games with hundreds of in-game purchases and have no functioning tech support and don't offer refunds and go years without announcing new games people want while rehashing a stupid zombie game and wait a second EA WHAT DID YOU DO TO VALVE AAAH FUCKIN EA

I wouldn't be surprised if EA is doing plenty of the dumb stuff they're doing now because of how well it worked out for Valve.

Thank goodness they didn't expand on it.
