MachinimaRespawn of all places to be related to Half Life 3. You guys sound desperate
> Any update on HL2/and/or other games > Automatically a conspiracy with hidden content for EP3
Should've added a misleading patch note so the ARG squad over at HL3 discussion could have a field day.
Valve aren't mean. They even publicly announced there was no ARG for EP3/HL3 and voiced their displeasure with fakers messing with their fans like that.
lol they break all Source mod functionality, SDK Base 2007 is totally unlaunchable and a fresh untouched SDK mod doesn't work but it's a mod problem? ok dude.
I can't believe they don't test this shit before they push it out. Knowing Valve it will be at least 3 months before they bother to fix it.
aren't all of the patches they release pretty big even for completely insignificant stuff? mainly because they have to recompile a bunch of files for small changes and then replace the whole thing, or somethin like that each update, even just for localization, its always around 3-400mb and people always freak out

Some kind of content updated.

The folders are for some files which are needed for being extracted and for mods files.

I can believe.
Also it updated the SDK Base and hence updated Dystopia and Empires, though I can't find any news referencing what was changed for roughly a 64mb patch.
400MB Seems a bit much for controller updates. I did have a dream about gabe last night. Maybe its a sign.
Hm, I've had no trouble lately running Obsidian Conflict, Dystopia or Empires and all those run off 2k7 Engine.
They fixed the problem pretty quick, the problem was there for about 4-5hrs yesterday
400mb 400/100 = 4 4-1 = 3 half life 3 released in 100 days
Secret ending, calling it.
they actually changed the vortigaunt lines to excessively talk about eli this is true and you heard it here first but im not sure why otis
Wow, people are getting desperate. Quite honestly, I don't even care about Half-Life anymore, what with Valve not giving any info about it for 5 years.
Valve announce a new L4D game!!!

They gave out concept arts, Gabe talked about problems in the development. And Gabe announced long time ago, that they aren't going to announce games anymore if they aren't ready for it, to prevent mistakes like they did with Episode 2 and Portal 2.

When the fuck did this happen? I thought it was the best game of 2011.
But they have given info about it.
not enough for me to go "OMG HALF LIFE YAY"
Portal 2 was a mistake? When the fuck did this happen? I thought it was the best game of 2011.
What I think he meant was they revealed too much about it before it came out (in any other producer's terms, it's still too little)
But they have given info about it.
Solid info. Not the one where they said "yeah we're working on it, hang on with us, you should now act really excited because we said we're working on, right guys?" Engine name leaks are nothing to get excited about too - wow, they're working on a new engine, no other dev has ever done that!
Valve probably fixed the 2007 Engine mod problem, before they fixed it, the mods based off the 2007 base wouldnt even start.

Hey everyone, depot 216 (Source SDK Base) was updated by accident, we are rolling it back now and your mod should start working again. If your mod was based upon HL2DM, TF2, CS:S or DoD:S (so you set the SteamAppId in your gameinfo.txt to not 216 or 218) then you will still have a problem loading your mod due to an unresolved symbol in tier0. We are working on the right fix for that still. - Alfred
