I find the bumpmaps more impressive than vanilla gta iv
AC4 got patched so much it has improved the stutters and low fps for me.
What the christ are you talking about, all of the light at night comes from dynamic streetlights and other lights, you can shoot them out individually, and if you cause a blackout it gets completely dark.
Have you even played the game

"no lights on in the city at night"
honestly, that looked a bit wonky to me
3 lights out, not a single, slightest of changes to lighting, 4th light out, it's all gone.

That thing he calls "dynamic light" is a thing you can do in hammer.

I call it a dynamic light because it casts dynamic shadows, they're not pre-baked
It's not visually impressive by any means. There's no lights on in the city at night, it's very gray and bland, and the textures on concrete, rocks, etc. isn't very good.
Not sure why people think it's so pretty, really.

Watch dogs looks shitty compared to what it was hyped to be. Definitely not "next gen".
I'm gonna be "that guy" but whatever, Crysis should be comparable to games coming out.
Also Crysis was released 7 years ago, still looks much better than Watch Dogs, and could run well on these next gen consoles and probably look better (who knows, though).
But that's not even relevant, because Watch Dogs on PC looks pretty meh compared to Crysis in 2007.
And heavily modded GTAIV does look better than Watch dogs, that much is obvious. It just seems like Ubisoft just did a lazy port to PC and didn't bother improving much.

We must be playing two different games.

"Approx. Total Memory", I doubt your 660Ti has 11GB VRAM
What the hell? It shows me that I have 3023 total memory. I have 470 GTX and 4GB of RAM, does that mean some of them are faulty or something?

Uh i think you weren't paying attention
He shot out the 2 first bukb, which made the area lose light but not fully because there were 2 bulbs overhead still casting their light. then he shot the third (top) one and it got considerably darker. Then the last one, and the area is in darkness nix the light bouncing over from other lamps.

No, it's just shit at reporting your VRAM

well look at the first light, it does as you say
the second light he shoots out it doesn't
there's also the entire lack of dynamic shadows from the headlights and most of the lights in general.
it looks nice, I'm not going to lie, but it's also a bit behind in terms of it's lighting technology
