I can't wait for TheRealRudy to create a banner for TESVI using an image from Oblivion.
Not sure about you guys, but I want to see new era in TES universe. As for gameplay: 1. Melee combat system must be recreated from scratch to be more close to Chivalry / Dark Souls. 2. Morrowind styled dialogs, without quest marks. 3. Optional co-op. But I'm 99% sure that non of these will be done.
I don't know, it would be kind of interesting to see another developers take on Elder Scrolls.
From software presents: The Elder Scrolls CDPR presents: The Elder Scrolls It would be insanely good if both devs got a chance at them.
I think M&B/Chivalry combat would be a horrible fit for Beth and TES because I know they won't be able to pull off that system in a way that's responsive enough for it to be satisfying. It'd be better if they focused on improving the animations and controls of what they have now. Dead Island/Dying Light are more mash mb1 focused than skyrim but even those games have better (but more shallower) combat just because each swing has feedback. I mean hell look at Fallout 4, the depth NV added to combat like DT and special ammos is pretty much gone but just because they tuned up the animations to an acceptable level the combat is infinitely better. It's been a pain in the ass to add new animations since Morrowind.
The weapons aren't light, dude. That, plus the armor you wear makes it even harder to swing those weapons. Call it a shitty gimmick but that's what I feel the devs were trying to go for.
The armor shouldn't affect you at all if you properly train for it and understand how it works

My issue with elder scrolls games has always been about the liveliness of the world. When you explore, the world is beautifully created. The landscapes you encounter in morrowind, oblivion, and skyrim especially are just breathtaking. They absolutely draw you in. All that wonder is immediately killed once you step foot inside a "city". The cities feel dead, no liveliness to them whatsoever. Not to mention each "city" has a population of like 20. The final battle for skyrim no matter which side consists of like 10 soldiers on each side. That's hardly even a skirmish.
