I like these games, I've enjoyed them since the first, and they've always been fun.
It's cool that they're going for a whole 'America is not totally awesome' story this time, it's a nice change. Kinda wish they expanded upon the Strike Force stuff Black Ops 2 introduced, that was cool though really underwhelming in the content department.
Now five pages of 'it's literally exactly the same.'
"It's exactly the same"
After IW says they are doing major changes to the gametypes.
And it will somehow still break sale records, win awards and once again have a million players playing at the same time.
I'm not sure if it's 2013 or 2009 anymore.
I'm hoping that's going to change this time
I haven't heard ANYBODY talk about COD of Duty this year, nobody seems to give a single shit about it
At least Black-Ops 2 introduced some... neat stuff? This just looks like a huge step back, just like the mess that was MW3, and still nothing has been done about the bloated and ridiculous killstreak system. I hardly hear of anyone even talking about this one, the hype seemed to drop off quickly. Sure it will sell like hotcakes, but I really wish we'd hit the point where we can stop trying to make COD all over again.
ehh, i might get this
not paying 60 € for it though
I think CoD was better when it was unintentionally ridiculous. I really enjoyed MW2 because it kinda was. Dual wielding lever action shotguns while throwing knives at people, then ending the game all on your own by calling in a fucking nuke was just the icing on the cake. They've gone away from that level of insanity, and it's just not been as fun. I know CoD is not supposed to be a ridiculous game, but I think it'd be an interesting spin if they intentionally made it that way.
Ghosts just seems like another generic shooter, just like I thought every CoD after Black Ops was.
