Wait. Wait wait wait.
You mean, AUS and NZ prices are now different on the Steam Store?
Cause Farcry 3 and ACIII are $70 USD here, which makes $67-68 AUD and $86 NZD.
I was talking DDE's
Will the Ubishop site give you a FC3 key to use on steam on release? I got a key from the amd card promo and it only gives you a key to use on the ubishop site.
Bought the Deluxe version.
So much money being blown so quickly :c
Halo 4 this past Tuesday, Blackops II next Tuesday, Starbound whenever it's finished, and now Farcry III.
Guess I'll need to start hitting 30 hours a work week to feed my habit :(
Swung a ticket over to Ubisoft support about it, hopefully get an answer why.
It's because of GAME being whiny bitches.
so it's said this game will be a true PC game and not a crappy port
That will be the day.
All these big game releases make me both extremely sad and happy at the same time.
Happy in that Video Games are becoming an art form full of beauty. When you take a minute to just stop and look at the scenery, it looks amazing. Story lines are becoming pretty great. Some companies are actually hiring authors to help create just mind blowing stories.
But im said in that, I have no moneyz to play them myself. :suicide:
A deluxe version that actually seems like it contains 10 bucks worth of content more than the standard one? Consider me sold!
Might buy it closer to release date.
I made the mistake of preordering FC2. FC3 looks really good and all, but, then again, so did Farcry 2. And I don't like what they did with the multiplayer, Farcry 2 MP was really fun, aside from horrendous balancing..
No malaria and no respawning guards everywhere.
What could possibly go wrong?

Drug addiction.
80 dollars for Farcry 3 in AUS.
100 dollars for ACIII in AUS.
Those prices.
Any Americans with Paypal wanna help a brother out?
You should probably know that new PC games are (sometimes, but not always) more expensive on Steam than in stores now.
Assassins Creed 3 for $69 for example
-snip we do-
Neither AC3 or FC3 available to pre-order in the UK yet. Not sure where else, could even be Europe.
The joy of changing my VPN's location to America and pre-ordering :D. Most good stuff isn't available in the UK any more.

Isn't this against their rules though?
Using a VPN to play a game early is fine but buying a game with a VPN? Could get in trouble.

That's not a very good idea. You can get your account banned for that.

I've done it loads and not had any problems. That's what happens when you try to censor a country >:(. I know loads of Germans who use VPN's to buy the UK or US versions of games as Germany has some strict rules on blood/gore and a lot of games are modded with green or no blood.

Even so, I wouldn't suggest others do it.
Steam may see this as falsifying your location to cheat them out of money.
Not to mention they added this exact action to their EULA or whatever it's called.
If only it used steamworks, buying the regular retail version since its cheaper + includes 3 DLCs.
I just bought a new motherboard, ram and a cpu, can't wait to play this on PC
