The Simpsons tackles Minecraft for intro couch gag; Notch "not sure how I feel about it"

Wow, are you joking? All they did was just walk. I had to watch it twice just so I could soak in how God-awful that intro was.
"The Simpsons" is like a man in his mid-life crisis trying to be hip with the younger generation and falling flat on his ass in the process. It's just embarrassing to watch.
And like what others said in this thread, South Park did it better. I thought it would've been bad at first but it surprisingly worked out well.
the reason they 'just walk' is because it's about the exposition of the scenes in the style, not the characters.
Gee golly. Can't wait to see this on TV here in Sweden in 20 years. Well, I estimate 20 years seeing as how Swedish TV is still airing episodes from 1996.

Like put Lisa on a horse or something. Have Homer leave work as other people are mining for carbon rods. Anything.

moe was nice
At least it wasn't family guy doing the reference.

And watch such a thing be in the first episode of next season on Family Guy. Only with a "special" Family Guy twist, like Peter as a Creeper who hurts his "knee", only to self destruct after the sixth groan of pain instead of it dragging on.
I used to be "with it", but then they changed what "it" was. Now, what I'm "with" isn't "it", and what's "it" seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to you.
I've never been with "it."
I hear someone call someone else salty and go "what the fuck they don't look sweaty?"

Even thought I don't find Family Guy "unfunny" per se, everything about the show just has this lazy, cynical feeling to it that makes any laugh I get from it feel hollow.
