Adventure Time is a fucking cartoon, Twin Peaks isn't.(and there's literally nothing 'lolrandom' about it either)
as someone who is insanely in love with Twin Peaks, if you think it's grounded in any form of reality you're not smart.

Where the fuck did THIS discussion go? :v: I still find it funny the voice actor for Jake was also the VA for Bender AND Marcus Fenix
oh hey the OP wasn't exagerating, it really is the name of the game
Stupid name Overpriced Awful ~retro~ look Adventure Time is fucking retarded too.
Lmao holy shit you're getting so mad about a thing you don't like for no reason "Guys stop having fun I don't like it!!! ITS BAD BECAUSE I DONT LIKE IT!!!!STOP!!"
I love Twin Peaks, but I'm going to be quite honest, the fuck purpose did it serve for Josie to get sucked into a fucking cabinet's handle? Also, animated or not, they're both great pieces of the weird. Cognitive Dissonance is a core piece of the weird. Take, Coopers first dream, it is completely out of the blue but its important later on in the story. Adventure time does the same thing, sometimes it spans a few episodes, other times its the entire point of the episode. Would you agree that watching two episodes of Twin Peaks, then saying its bad and making a judgement on is wrong? If you say yes, how the bleeding fuck can you say a show with 148 episodes is bad when you watched two.
Jesus Christ, fine, I'll watch some Adventure Time if it's truly as wondrous as Twin Peaks is... despite it giving the initial impression that it's a show for children. You can all stop ganging up on me now, jerks. :(
how the bleeding fuck can you say a show with 148 episodes is bad when you watched two.
The Big Bang Theory has 143 episodes and you don't even need to watch one to know it's bad. But Adventure Time is a damn good show.
The Big Bang Theory has 143 episodes and you don't even need to watch one to know it's bad.
How am I supposed to know that if i don't watch it?
Honestly looks like you're paying 20 bucks more for the name as opposed to the game.

Everyone else here were acting as though I just killed their mothers. I will give the show another shot though, I just haven't gotten into a cartoon in years.
If you're looking for the weird like Twin Peaks, Adventure Time, Regular Show and Gravity Falls are probably your closest bet. If you haven't seen X-Files yet, fix that as well.
I'm actually in the process of going through The X-Files, it's a hard watch since I've seen pretty much every series ever inspired by it so I get a ton of deja vu. The chemistry between the leads and overall mystery keeps me going though, I'm in Season 2 at the moment.
That's where I am right now. I just love Mulder.
