Dan Harmon Confirms "Rick and Morty" Has Not Been Renewed for Season 4

Every twitch chat I've ever seen is the closest thing to the "void" that can be described.
as if the fans are the only bad part of rick and morty. i've had the misfortune to watch a few episodes of this "comedy" and it was nothing but reddit humour and toilet jokes. i have no respect for its fans even if they sit down and shut up
Never actually watched Rick and Morty for any length of time, maybe is getting wrapped up is an excuse to do so.
To be fair, you have to have a very high iq to understand Rick n Morty
I've literally never seen someone say this without referencing the "joke".
It's almost like those that have a rabid hatred of a fanbase(not saying you, but some people have run that joke into the ground) are just as bad as those that have a rabid love of a thing.

PICKLE RICKERS IN THE HOUSE TONIGHT
AND DRUMPF DID NOT RECEIVE AN INVITE
Wow thank you for showing me how terrible the Rick and Morty fanbase is by being the only person acting like an imbecile in the entire thread.
It really lets me know what's been ruining people's perception of the show.
It's been extremely obvious that retards perpetuating the weird outrage culture surrounding the show have been the ones doing that shit the entire time tbh
found the pickle rickers
this house party is over.
Rick n Morty is like undertale to me. I really like it when it first came out, but then the shitty fan base appeared and just drove me away from it entirely. Its doesn't help when they keep the meme shit like picklerick going on.
I wish my brain was big enough to understand what they're talking about, maybe i should watch this show. Maybe it would increase my brain size.
I say good riddance it overstayed its welcome considering its a rip-off back to the future.
If AS doesn't pick it up. I wouldn't be surprised if FX(X) or Comedy Central picked it up. They both dabbled in Animation.
Apparently, the voice actor Tara Strong confirmed today in a Reddit AMA she was just in the studio for a character "this season" and she couldn't say who it was, so she definitely meant Season 4. Here's the comment for anyone interested. I don't see why they would be doing VA work if the show wasn't actually renewed. I also don't think she made a mistake, this isn't her first time on Rick and Morty. She was the voice of Tinkles from the parasite episode.
I'm not a huge fan of the show but I casually watch it and it's pretty funny at times. Would like to see another season.
That is one of the best ways to completely ruin any chance of a show's continutation because you put a finite number of people who watch and it often times comes woefully short of any financial sense.
Its why, no matter what happens, Firefly is/was never coming back.
I really enjoy the humor in R&M but when I outright can't stand it is when it tries to be smart. It's like watching a 14 year old atheist who skimmed through Nietzsche's work try to act smart by throwing as many buzzwords at someone as they possibly can.
If it goes that would suck however. It wasn't bad but it was pretty rough imho
Is Dan Harmon pulling an April's fools 2 weeks early with Season 4 reveal on April 1st?
Where's the optimistic rating when we need it?
Honestly; its more so just pure saturation depending on the circles you're in and that's not any parties fault. Its not the creators fault, its also not your fault. But I can see where the frustration is because I live it everyday.
Any time I see something getting promoted that just vaguely appears that it could fit in with Undertale/Homestuck/SU; my initial bodily reaction is to cringe because I am full well expecting one of my friend groups to never shut up about it. The same cringe hits me when a new over marketed AAA videogame happens in another friend group, my brain immediatly just puts up its blinders.
And I do this shit as well; no one is safe from being one of them.
Now I'm wondering if Justin cut out Dan and he has no idea what's going on.
I don't think I've seen anything from season 3 but even just the first two seasons, all the focus on the divorce and marriage/family drama felt super out of place and just uncomfortable for what was an otherwise silly and absurd show. All the divorce/relationship drama scenes with the mom and the dad just made me cringe, I don't know if they thought they were gonna win some points for "tackling real issues" or something but it just bummed me out in the middle of a show I specifically watched for laughter.
It's honestly shocking how quickly the anti Rick and Morty circlejerk became more obnoxious to me than Rick and Morty fans.
I get to hear all the same memes and canned phrases repeated ad nauseum, but from people being ~ironic~.
World Peace had a damn cool aesthetic though.

World Peace was an amazing show, Sam just ruined it by being a shitty person basically.
Most people I know at my university love rick and morty but I'm going to school for animation so uhhhh
Adult Swim is infamous for airing only one-two marque series at a time and Venture Bros is set to return this year, so I guaruntee that why R&M is on the backburner. They also have Fooly Cooly 2 + 3 airing on Toonami later this year as well.
Tara Strong just said on reddit she was recording lines for season 4 of rick and morty.
mind games
It's important to bear in mind that Dan Harmon may be telling a half-truth.
Adult Swim is notorious for 1) Shafting it's show-runners with last-minute decisions and bad contracts and 2) Aiming as hard as possible for the 'golden ratio' of mininal-investment/maximum return.
It's likely that the negotiations between Dan and Adult Swim (or, more specifically, their parent Cartoon Network) have been particularly sticking in terms of price and number of episodes delivered, with [AS] having a lot of downward pressure on their side (the hit-or-miss nature of last season, the free viewership issue, Dan's potential as a sexual-harassment scandal) and Dan is trying to prove that he's got an enthusiastic, ravenous fanbase that will bring down big bucks, so he (and his fellow show runners) should get big bucks back, as well as a solid number of to-be-delivereds so we don't have a similar fucktastrophe like S3 losing, what was it, 3 episodes mid-season?
A. You seriously think CN doesn't have the metric already?
B. Firefly isn't coming back because the movie tanked hard and the writer killed off half the cast.
I'm glad it died a peaceful death and didn't go on for 10+ seasons to ultimately become another Simpsons or South Park.
