Also schools should only promote technology you have at least a degree of control over, not ipads.
I was in an Apple store a few weeks ago and tested out the pencil in a coloring book type app. It was fun for sure, but what else do you use it for besides this sort of thing? Does it have a practical use like can you edit pictures with it like Photoshop?
as i said earlier, Procreate is the go-to artist app on the ipad when you have a pencil. Can draw and then export as a PSD to fix up in photoshop. There's also apps that turn the ipad into a cheap cintiq with Duet https://www.duetdisplay.com/ or astropad Astropad | Turn your iPad into a drawing tablet There's also programs like illustrator draw which let you draw a vector drawing and then instantly open it up in photoshop/illustrator on your computer the iPad is a powerful drawing tool for those who can't afford a cool cintiq but want a premium product
