I always appreciate a push to make Linux a more gaming-viable platform, but creating a system based solely on Linux - which still has relatively few big-name titles (there are some, of course) to begin with - and then marketing it to gamers with no 'launch titles' or big developers lining up resources to support it before launch is a surefire way to flop. Not to mention that Steam is a name mainly recognised by the PC demographic, the latter of whom most likely arleady have a Windows PC chock-full of games who can access Steam 'Big Screen' regardless. Marketing a 'PC' console to a crowd that already have a PC that already does what the former can do is somewhat of a pointless push.
