• Blogger doing bikini photo shoot in LV hotel claims she was told to cover up

She asked the hotel for permission first, it's the hotels responsibility to be internally consistent regardless of how absolutely obnoxiously unhealthy she is, or her motivation of mass deluding other people like her that it's okay to fast track yourself into a coffin by the age of 45. So yeah, good job fucking up, unnamed las vegas hotel. You've disserviced everyone involved.
While I agree that this is unhealthy levels of obesity, it's very very very concerning that people just immediately jump "well she's unhealthy so therefore she shouldn't be showing it off at all' and other dumb shit that would never be justified so readily if it was someone else that was doing this. The point she was trying to make with this post was that she faced discrimination from hotel staff simply because she is fat and was trying to do a bikini shot whereas some thinman of a woman would have gotten off just fine. If you have any true belief in freedom of choice no matter who you are, then it'd be incredibly hypocritical to try and argue that this woman shouldn't be able to take a bikini shot simply because she's unhealthy and shouldn't show that off. Her truthfully unhealthy behavior is another matter entirely. This about discrimination. If the hotel forced everyone to cover up, then this might be a different story, but she was told specifically to do so because she was fat. In addition while it's true that the hotel is a privately owned property, and that they had every right to tell the woman what she can and cannot do on her property, this does not make it morally right for them to do it. It's the same as a privately-owned property disallowing concealed carry on their premises, or someone using hate-speech. They have every right to do so, but people still have the right to get pissed off at them for doing so. That's exactly what this post was, someone getting pissed off at the hotel for doing so, and wanting changes to be put in place so that discrimination like what happened doesn't happen again.
BRAVO!! U look AMAZING!! I shared your photo with my 10 year old who’s already being told that she’s not skinny enough by her peers. It’s one thing to hear it from her momma that’s she’s prefect just the way she is, but for her to see see you ROCKING that bikini! My daughter now wants me to buy her one like u, so I say THANK YOU! U are not only an inspiration to me but my beautiful curvy little girl. Love ya! ❤️ This is so fucked.
Because people don't understand the difference between accepting reality and not letting it hold you back vs. justifying your bad behavior/condition and enabling it to continue.
You're totally right, but on the other hand I look at the image in the OP, and I know that's something I'd really really rather not see in public, double standard or not. I'll be honest, I don't care about her health or agenda or whatever. I see that and I get grossed out. I would not have the same reaction to an average sized human wearing a similar outfit. I'm pretty sure most people would have similar reactions to mine in a situation like that.
You say that but other people would also look at a healthy woman in a bikini and be disgusted.
Possibly, but I highly doubt the majority of people would have nearly as negative of a reaction to a healthy woman in a bikini.
She is a model. She is modelling. She had contacted the hotel and gotten permission to model. It's clearly a fucking double-standard to say that she isn't allowed to do so when she arrives. All well and good, but you being grossed out does not change the fact that A: She had permission to do so, and B: That anyone not obese would have no problems is clearly a pretty fucking big double standard. You don't have to take pleasure in it. I certainly don't, though I don't find much reason to go about the internet yelling about yeast infections or whatever, I'm perfectly fine keeping that opinion to myself. But this simply isn't a question of 'is it gross or not', it's a question of equal treatment for people who've gone through the exact same channels to do the exact same things.
Maybe or maybe not, but that honestly isn't an argument for why the double standard is okay.
What, you want fat people to have a lil' kid walking thirty feet in front with a red flag and a bell to warn bystanders like cars back in the turn of the century or what? And yes, she's acting like sort of a cunt about it and probably hoped it'd happen so she could call foul, but again, that is not the point. There is actual foul going on and her calling it out is, for once for this type of people, reasonably justified.
Alright, do we have to set a standard for weight for when you have to send out a forewarning so innocent bystanders can be spared from mild inconvenience? How do we account for people being buff or tall?
let her have her fun she'll die out in a few years
fucken yuck
Honestly I'd say if you need extra services for you, eg, extra airplane seat, have to use a roomier restroom such as the disabled one, you're at a point weight-wise where it's not really acceptable to be proud of it. Now granted, I'm biased as I used to be way too thin and have trouble gaining weight at all (I'm at 60kg @ 1.70m right now), but I really don't think being under 40kg is acceptable either.
I miss when plus size was just that and not plus sizex10.
And this hotel's fridge is a true treasure trove
