No way, walking barefoot is consider an alternative medicine. I found no noticeable health benefit to walking barefoot, been doing it for years. Only benefit I notice is that it thickens and toughens your soles and that's about it.

Shoes actually deform your feet, so there are definite benefits to going barefoot if you aren't going to step on anything dangerous. (Compare a baby's feet to yours, especially your toes; someone who lives their entire life barefoot will have short toes much like a baby's.)

Those benefits do not include absorbing "antioxidants" via "spiritual electrons", of course.
