Weinstein believes he will be forgiven by Hollywood

Yeah, but again, those bridges were most likely burned after the scandal broke. Being associated with him is going to be the kiss of death.
I don't know. I really want to think there will be more changes ( and more of those horrible people being taken down ), but as long as Roman Polanski and Woody Allen aren't finally getting the boot, a real sense of change isn't going to be felt.
On the subject of the whole #metoo movement, Can I express an opinion on one specific case? Someone had accused George Takei of molesting him. Takei claimed he'd never even met the person in question. After that initial accusation? Nobody else has come forward, and we've heard nothing at all about it.
Going to call that one, at least, utter bullshit.
Neither of them are really a part of the hollywood system at this point. Polanski is living in Europe and hasn't had any real mainstream success in a long while, and a bunch of actors on Allen's last film have vowed to never work with him again and subsequently donated their salaries to charities like RAINN and Time's Up.
They're phasing out.
Honestly only a total idiot would want to be connected to him in any way
there are tons of alternatives that aren't linked to a rape scandal
it's Hollywood, don't underestimate the things some people over there will do for you if you pay them enough money.
i get that any known connection with him is a death warrant for your career, but what i'm saying is that it wouldn't surprise me if some higher-up suddenly got big money from who knows where, then a bunch of actresses and models who accused Harv mysteriously lost their jobs.
