No Guns Allowed During NRA Convention Speech By Trump, Pence

No it doesn't happen very often. I didn't state it did.
Yes, gun accidents are dangerous.
My question is though, if you're saying a zone is "Gun Free" how are you enforcing that? Law abiding citizens aren't my concern here, mistakes aren't my concern here. Intentional hostile action is my concern here, and I seriously do not believe your method is valid in countering it, as the evidence of our own world, and your country largely bears out.
Negligent discharges and other accidents very rarely happen in public. Saying gun-free zones are there to prevent accidents is just dumb. Gun-free zones aren't just federal and medical. Many malls, stores, restaurants and other businesses (corporate and local), have mad themselves into gun free zones.
Gun-free zones exist to make people feel safe, not to actually make people safe.
You are ridiculous lmao.
Police?
As has been stated before, gun free zones are obviously not there to stop people who have the intent to kill other people.
If you watch closely you can see the bias forming. You sure are making a lot of assumptions there. I keep learning new things about myself every time you post!
PS- there are other insults besides "Moral high-horse"
Glad I can help you get some life under your belt, cause you're sure as shit not doing it on your own.
I like to imply you live on a high-horse because you post like it. I reiterate it because you don't seem to understand what it means yet.
Then what are they really for?
Tons of liberals, tons of lefties, tons of people in general, do see Gun Free Zones as existing to stop that. But they don't.
So what do they do? Does a "Feel Good" measure that actively does nothing actually have enough value to be put into place, and act as a piece of misinformation?
Yes, the police are there to prevent harm, but they're not omnipresent or omnipotent and they have limitations. I am not for arming the public as a method to counter act
violence, but I also do not see this as a valid solution what-so-ever. Many gun free zones are not enforced by the police actively. So, no, they aren't there for that purpose as an active deterrent.
Give up man, we're arguing with a kid here. No understanding of the going on's of the world unless it's in his bedroom.
I think it's gross because that heroic delusion is a fantasy and unless you've got a shitload of training under your belt, you're extremely unlikely to be able to kill someone not concerned for their own safety.
It's not the idea of killing an aggressor that's gross, it's the way you framed it as some sort of act of future heroism. It's delusional, and there are plenty of veterans who corroborate that.
He really did not frame that as a future act of heroism.
Read what he actually said. Not what you imagine he said.
It's not a delusion. I didn't say, I can't wait for the chance to stand up and be a hero. I said, I have the right to carry this defensively so I do and I hope I can do the right thing if it ever comes down to it. Something is not screwed in correctly in your head.
You need to go re-read his post. You're not addressing what he said at all, you're addressing what you think he said.
Read the words on the screen dood
Maybe one day I'll have as big strong man like you whisk me away from my gated (and sugar coated and dressed up 😘) life. I wish there was someone to protect me from it all but until then I guess I'll just keep having to live life in my fantasy land.
Grow up fella
You dodging the argument to go on these absolutely inane tangents about your perception of what Grendiac is saying does nothing but show that you're not willing to have any communication here, just you lecturing other people as to how things should work.
Grendiac doesn't want to kill anyone, and I bet on my life that if he ever had to do so, he'd feel the weight of that and the guilt of that EVEN if it was justified. He's made his bed, he's willing to
use the tools he has on him to hopefully protect people, and doesn't take that lightly. You think he does. You think he's being some gung ho idiot ready to gun down someone. I highly, highly
doubt this is the case.
Take it seriously, or no one will take you seriously.
This attitude you have, is at very least, partly responsible for the reason why this kind of conversation is so hard.
I've pretty much decided I'm through explaining myself to smug, mewling hand-wringers who can only see what they want to see. Now I understand why so many other gun owners choose to stay quiet and fund lobbies rather than attempt open forum.
SKS you're completely ignoring every response to what you're saying and doubling down every time you reply.
Just fucking consider that maybe your perception of things isn't absolutely bulletproof and maybe you're kind of being a prick right now.
