Women accuse Morgan Freeman of inappropriate behavior, harassment

Why do people rush to defend their favorite celebrities just because they think they like them? I've never understood this. They'll never know your name. They'll never care about you, and money turns people into worse versions of themselves. There's no reason to have any emotional stake in these people.
Who's defending them?
We're saying hold judgement until there's either actual proof or a judge says so. That people are so willing to instantly believe accusations is an alarming trend.
but Chris Pratt is already suspicious for being so perfect and likable. no, the person who would genuinely come out of left field would be, uh...
...Owen Wilson?

This could bit him later on, yup.
'Innocent until proven guilty' is a legal concept. It doesn't have any bearing outside the courtroom. Not to mention that the nature of most of these allegations against people are both 'unverifiable in the strictest sense, and likely old enough that even if you had video footage or something similarly damning, the statue of limitations would have run out on them. For instance, for all the shit we now know about Bill Cosby, according to the judicial system, he only ever harmed one woman in the mid 2000's, even though we have a huge number of reports of incidents stretching back over fifty years.
Another Actress Steps Forward Accusing Tom Hanks of Being Nice
“Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who
would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy,”
Freeman said in a statement. “I apologize to anyone who felt
uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent.”
Not exactly an admission of guilt.
