I was reading the other day that the Skyrim switch port actually removed vampires attacking in towns
Oh god the idea of the Fallout 3 meat faces in HD sends a chill down my spine.
yes, i would prefer that very much
and their own launcher
with (paid) mods and shit
By the way, if anyone's curious, the stream is actually live i think. Someone gave the camera a thumbs up after the stream came back online.
Would be pretty ballsy to sell a 60 dollar game that looks slightly better than this.

Just saying, Fallout would have been better off had Bethesda not bought it
Is that... gabe?
Either the franchise would be dead or bought by a company that cares even less about RPGs. New Vegas made it worth it.
Someone said they saw a guy in a skyrim switch walk up and whisper to the bobblehead, did anyone clip it?
It's possible a better studio could have bought it too you know, possibly even eventually resold it
With Bethesda all they're going to do is make increasingly shittier versions of what Fallout should be the longer they have it. Fallout 4 already had really unworthy RPG mechanics. Maybe it wasn't the worst game, but I'm not sure it's worth more than 20$.
and there is zero chance they'll ever resell it, and when they let another studio use it all that we're going to get is Bethesda fucking them over and
Yes,
or Tim Cain.
All he did was walk over to the bobble-head and pretend to whisper something into its ear.
A Fallout port for the Switch? Skyrim on Switch was great and I hope we get Fallout 3 or 4 soon (or Oblivion). Yours truly, Todd Howard.
And that rushed game on a garbage engine is magnificent. Fallout fits well in Bethesda's style of game, and there is a chance the next beth game won't be as simplified after Todd said the voiced pc was a
mistake.
wow I hope this is half life 3!
Lets hope that they don't fuck the next one up. They can learn from their mistakes, and I still believe that Todd is basically a marketing genius.
New Vegas has a legitimately frustrating existence. It's one of the most unique RPG experiences out there, however Bethesda's meddling has tainted it with a lot of poor qualities. Imagine how legendary NV would have been with its own engine and timeframe.
But imagine if it was though
We’ve been paying attention to the wrong company this whole time
lol these interns are just fucking with us, some chick just tossing balloons
Beth's writing will get better when Todd's school buddy Emil leaves the company. Nepotism is the reason for the crap writing. Shame he isn't a very good writer, I think he was a solid level designer for Marathon or
something.
If it's going to be the same as Skyrim SE with zero actual improvements on the same shitty engine I definitely won't be bothered.
However if they actually put in some effort (lol) and update it to look and play like Fallout 4 then I may be interested.
I guess this could be cool for a Tale of Two Wastelands esque mod that combines Fallout 4 and Fallout 4: New Vegas, assuming the latter mod ever comes out or someone bothers to combine the games anyway. And assuming Bethesda does more for the remaster than give the original game a fresh paint job and call it a day.

Oh wow I can't believe Todd announced Skyrim Remastered!
I mean, atleast the NCR is still a thing.
I'm guessing it's a spinoff of some sort or maybe a remaster of fallout 3. doubt it's anything on the scale of a new vegas game. Maybe an isometric spinoff in the vein of fallout 1 and 2?
The NCR were in Fallout 4 as well.
Hear me out with this. The only reason they didn't do much with the Skyrim SE is because they don't have an updated look for the Elder Scrolls yet outside of MMO. They do for Fallout though, so by remastering Fallout 3 with 4's graphical improvements it sets a whole new precedent for them. So once they do The Elder Scrolls VI with a bright, shiny new look, they can sell us another remaster of Skyrim.
Anyone expecting a new game is kinda silly. E3 is right around the corner, they'd drop the news there.
