So, when Roseanne tweets something racist they take action, but when they're writing jokes about her insane tweets at the ABC Upfront and Kimmel shows a number of her tweets during an interview with her which is also on ABC, they were fine with all that stuff? They literally had the president of ABC making jokes up there about it during the private upfront for advertisers, come on.

I remember reading that Roseanne's always been prone to PR disasters, back in the original series. And hasn't she had a nutty Twitter feed since way before the revival? ABC should've known what they were getting into. They probably did, then hoped she never crossed certain lines (like the kind you cross when you call a black person an ape). It's always weird when a big budget project like this seems so transparent with its behind-the-scenes politics.

It doesn't fit in with the revival only 3 months earlier, it makes no sense given how they've been holding onto her all this time despite similarly nutty behavior, and it diminishes her fucked up racism by calling the appropriate reaction lefty bias.
