I don’t agree with drowning animals, but could we maybe stop throwing “psychopath” around as if it means literally nothing? If you drown animals for fun, then yeah, that’s antisocial behaviour and you can start looking into it. If you do it because you need to kill it, your actions were probably misguided, but it’s hardly a litmus test for psychopathy.

As someone who has almost drowned before drowning is one of the furthest things from a humane was of killing things.

And no, drowning an animal is not a part of daily life, so they didn't have to show the kids. If they needed to know that, they probably grew up on a farm and already knew it.

I live in a fairly secluded area. It's not really that rural or anything; the most popular amusement park in my state is actually a little over a mile away. I've had people release pest animals from other parts of the state that have killed my chickens and uprooted my garden.

If you've seen the damage raccoons and other pest animals can and will do, you wouldn't empathize with the fuckers even a little bit. They'll do anything to fuck up your pets, property, and life. The world isn't emptier with one less raccoon.

Psychopath doesn't mean "literally nothing" unless you mean that anything that isn't in the ICD-10 literally doesn't exist as a concept (even then, the ICD-10 does list something very similar - different name, though).
