Steam have added a compact mode for the friend's list today, which removes game category separation, a more classic approach

You can find it in the settings panel, if it's not there, just press F5

I convinced my boss to jump on the band wagon early let me implement rich presence for our game. Its pretty cool having that kinda stuff and I'm excited to see what other devs do with it

Bit of a bump but they reverted the message sound to the current non beta Steam one.

I like how they added view game info back, it was much needed, along with the other crippling issues such as overlay not working sometimes.

It's mostly usable now, they just need to fix invisible mode.
