For some reason it doesn't feel as hot here. Like two years ago that summer was brutal.
Still isn't as hot as California.
I think you just set the new record for who can bring up the "Still not as hot as X" competition. Congrats
still not as hot as the sahara desert
lol listen to these pussies who don't live on the literal surface of the sun.
June should be the month where the heat kicks in Just awful
In my city May's average daily max temperature was almost 5°C warmer than the long term average max for the month. The long term max for May is 18.8°C, this year it was at 23.6°C. Normally that's the temperatures we get in warmer summers, thisis crazy. Also we've been hit by harsher thunderstorms almost every day after it was that warm, so bad that many cities in my area were flooded in less than 1 hour.
Yup, Czech Republic's also getting fucked up by heat. Two or three weeks ago, we had an almost nation-wide rainstorm that lasted almost two days or so and it caused some severe flooding in some parts of the country. And this happened after a few months of virtually no rain. It was 32°C yesterday, which I'd say is pretty unusual for the first week of June. There are parts of the country that had no rainfall for months. In some places, the groundwater dropped 9m. And you have to realize, that it's still only June. Even tornadoes (mostly of the weakest sort), which were pretty fucking rare here, are seen more often nowadays.
Denmark also just had the hottest and sunniest May ever afaik. It's insane, and honestly really annoying during the night - usually doesn't get very warm, so A/C isn't really a thing, and I'm sweating like crazy during those warm summer nights.
Still not as hot as the Planck epoch immediately following the Big Bang Get on my level scrubs I'm posting into the future as a primordial gas of weakly coupled particles. Good thing the AC is on

Local news here on the east coast said that the past 39 months out of 60 months have had above average temperatures. So 2/3rds of the past 5 years have been hotter than normal. Not sure if it was global or just regional, though.
you're one of them flat earthers arent you
what
Can confirm, the humidity is going to kill me and we are at 29ºC here in Nuremberg. The thing that some people must know, is that due the humidity it makes everything worse. Is different from the dry heat of Spain where you can be at 45ºC and there's not a single drop of sweat in your skin.
imagine 45 C with 50-100% humidity
Its starting to get hot here though I'm surprised the nights are pretty cold which usually wasn't the case. I mean I'm hoping it could be like this for the whole summer but the sun is a dick.
We're having the same shitty weather here. It's hot as balls but it also keeps raining. Either I open my windows to air myself but rain keeps going in, or I suffocate with my windows closed.
There's nothing I love more than having a nice cool night to fall asleep to, especially when it means having to wake up a few hours later in a pool of sweat because lol it's like 85 degrees Fahrenheit now, fuck you human.
Pfft the sun, Pfft the surface. Weak.
Well, the rainstorm is here again.
Unfortunately, South Bohemia is as dry as before, I can only see the rainclouds passing us by in the distance.
