Remember sort of "diving" in the waves with the faster boats in JC2. was genuinely disappointed when it was impossible to do in JC3. hope they bring it back... Getting the right angle and hitting a good jump essentially meant diving for half a mile on the bottom of the ocean.
Yeah a few things from JC2 we’re certainly lost in JC3. Overall I really loved the wing suit and movement in that game that I just loved it. Hopefully they have a tether with no weight limits or they give us a lot of tethers to work with, the jet pack from the DLC, and a bunch of new content as well. It’s a very free game to experiment with
Eh i like my Bavarium Iron Man suit. Sucks how that was DLC instead of the actual game.
That looks like South America, judging by the Spanish on the bridge and the Mayan ruins. Natural disasters being in it is going to be pretty interesting, to say the least. I know I complained about press-button-to-win weapons like the Lightning Gun earlier, but if we get a gun that can summon tornadoes I'm not going to complain. It looks like weapon attachments are being added too, so that'll be fun.
current rumor suggests the game is set in asia.
I hope the city on the artwork it's not the capital, because it's pretty small. Panau City in JC2 was one of my favourite places to screw around with the tether gun, go basejumping and stuff. I missed that, together with the other Biomes in JC3.
Please let them go back to JC2 vehicle physics, I fucking hated driving in JC3 because of how shit they made it.
They should set it in USA. Watch mainstream media go nuts and gamespot "be confused" about not being able to mercilessly slaughter and rape right-wingers. Literally the most unsettling video i've seen was the gamespot hipsters wondering aloud why Far Cry 5 didn't adhere to their cheese-dome world-view.
Part of me wants it to be set closer to home and for it to be perceived as "making a commentary" but the rest of me just can't deal with the juvenile perspectives of mainstream gaming media. Set it on Antarctica and let us go fuck up some penguins.
I hope this is made by the JC2 team and not a bunch new guys like they did with JC3, though with confirmation that Avalanche is working on Rage 2, I fear JC4 is being worked on by new guys still.
Say what you will, but for JC2 at least I justified it with it being an island nation that tried to inflate it's GDP and to make Panau appear to be more prosperous than it is by constructing buildings that would never be filled to capacity.
Same. I started playing JC2 again recently, but I just couldn't get past the ghost town feel anymore.
It's a shame, because I love Just Cause's map design with plenty of open space and huge scale. But the main progression is just shooting stationary objects and picking up crates.
are you ok
I was trying to be funny, but crawled so far up my own arse i didn't get back out until just now. I was actually considering how cool a mountainous region of America could be in Just Cause 4, but then i remembered the skewered Far Cry 5 coverage by american games media and got butthurt about it all over again. My bad.
I really enjoyed JC3 i dunno why people hated it.
The only thing i hated about JC3 was the bad framerate and the huge plot holes. It had many fun stuff like the wingsuit, multi tethers, upgrades, water physics, gorgeous landscapes, trains and the improved rebel drop system.
JC2 however had a more varied map and lots of easter eggs.
Game officially announced at E3
So ready to wingsuit slingshot tornado.
I'm ready to take jumbo jets through tornadoes and try to survive

I think that might implies bad guys can control the weather.
