• George Lucas Would Have Set Third Trilogy in Midichlorian "Micro-world"

I don't disagree, I'm just trying to point out that Lucas didn't want to make Osmosis Jones with lightsabers.
The new movies still used his ideas. Rey, Kylo, Luke's academy be destroyed and him going into Exile all came from meetings with him.
It's like reading a parody of Indiana Jones instead of an actual Indiana Jones movie.
Darth Talon was in very early story discussions with George as well. He really like Talon for some reason, he also had her shoehorned into the cancelled Darth Maul game.
It isn't even surprising to know that George is crazy. Even in the officially licensed documentary included with Revenge of the Sith can't even pretend that he's not crazy. They explicitly show off how everyone said no to his stupid fucking ideas
What happened to Star Wars with legitimately one of the biggest ripoffs ever, however the prequels still had a massive amount of raw creative content and could have been masterpieces if they had better direction.
Dude if you've ever seen some of the original drafts of Star Wars. Some parts of It read like an acid trip.
Which is sad because that's literally a better idea than the one he's pitching so..
clone wars did fix the midiclorians as they became a medium with the cosmic force. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g09-cvxdqqs What lucas explained was a method to demystify god and once you can do that you can kill it, even if it could move throughout time and space. Good script ideas on paper can turn out bad and bad script ideas can turn out good. It feels like some "journalists" are using lucas as a scapegoat for star wars in it's current form, as I've seen articles pop up imply it being "set-in" the microbe world like osmosis jones. Mirco organisms plots can be interesting like the andromeda strain or moyashimon. And yes you could use Whills a story with a good moral structure about telling god to stop meddling in your lives or what do you do if god is dead. The extended universe cannon would throw a wrench into what you can do, but nothing is impossible. You're never going to find moral philosophical arguments with star wars after that died with the prequels (I remember the internet before episode 1). You do get conversations about specific instances, but nothing as a whole as it once was.
I can't wait for the morons harassing SW cast members and demanding the next movie have no minority characters to start a petition asking for this instead of Episode IX
what happened to a western in space? oh right, it went to the same place his other unmade episodes went...
Star Wars: Episode VII: Triumph of the Whill
That sounds far more entertaining then the thrashy triology we got.
This would have been the perfect Indiana Jones version of Space Balls
People tend to forget that Lucas announced the nine film series before V was even out in theaters. Reading reviews for ESB you'll often find critics be rather dubious that he could pull off such a significant array of films.
