They're going to die, plain and simple. Palm oil and other ingredients from the rain forests are consumed en masse by the West and Asia, as the developing nations become developed, particularly Africa, they'll want some as well. Try telling the thousands of Asian and South American farmers and log fellers they need to stop lmao

not really comparable though is it? Can the gorilla move it with the same capbilities as the robot? No where near. Ratios like this are meaningless and miss the point entirely.
Ratios like this show off what perceived flaws there are and what can be improved and humans are all about improving. Nature has perfected hydraulics, levers and motors to such a degree that even robots, a major staple of our industries is made out to be incredibly clunky for what it does.
Good to see that some of the worlds most impressive ecological wonders mean nothing to you, because " We all die "
Isn't one of the problems that they use poor farming practices that lead to the soil being destroyed, so they have to keep cutting down more trees to get to viable soil. Seems like forcing them to use proper farming techniques and making sure soil renewal takes place should be mandatory for any company that wants these products.
There's also increase in demand, people jumping in on the "gold-rush" hype-train, etc.
