I don't care what someones past was like, there is absolutely no excuse for some things, and said things deserve all the hate that comes with them
Lol. Please enlighten me, how and when did Tenacion become rehabilitated? When he spent a few months under house arrest? When he donated some "sorry" money to charity?
Big fuckin' whoop. I didn't see him paying the medical bills of his ex-girlfriend and the gay man he beat half to death. And may I remind you just last March he was under investigation again for punching his cousin in the side of the head?
Tenacion was a serial abuser. I don't see any reason to think he was a changed man beyond his own word.

Tenacion more than likely would've gone on to enact more violence on more innocent people because all he did to rehabilitate himself was say "I'm a changed man now lol".
If I saw any legitimate reason to actually believe he was making an effort to change, I would probably think differently. But I don't, so I don't.
Good. Fucking. Riddance.
I think nearly killing a pregnant woman is disgusting but I guess we aren't supposed to judge an abuser by his criminal history so....
Nobody is acting like he meant nothing to no one. He had plenty of fans and I'm sure had a family. What we're saying is that having one less abuser is not a bad thing. And you may not be "supporting the shit he's done", but the fact that you are going after the people who fight back against an abuser and not the abuser himself say a fuck of a lot about your priorities. Of course the internet is gonna judge him, that's a natural consequence of nearly killing someone and attacking a man for being gay.
As understandable as it is, i don't think this kind of hatred is healthy at all.
I think being so passive to people who were this disgustingly vitrol is healthy. He deserves to be dragged through the mud.
i haven't seen people be this divided over someone's death in a very long time
It's very healthy actually: the moment I mourn a loss of a person who beat people for no real reason is the moment I mourn the loss of my identity and my moral compass
It's safe to say I can still be relatively proud of myself today
and before anyone says it, I don't endorse vigilante justice or whatever you may get at me for
He probably did deserve that, but giving people what they deserve isn't always the best outcome. We should strive towards mitigating the suffering, helping the victims overcome their abuse and helping abusers leave behind their lifestyles for something better. Hatred, i feel, pulls us away from that goal.
That's only what i believe, though. I'm not against being proven wrong.
It's like it is. Goes around comes around.
Seems he was just too far down shit creek and hit a rock before he acquired the common sense to start paddling.
Care to post something that doesn't look like it came off of my family's Facebook feed? Perhaps a source?
He can't keep getting away with this
I don't really know this dude or his music but I gotta say I find it fascinating that people tend to be more forgiving of a person after their deaths. I don't see why dying makes someone any bit less reprehensible. It feels almost like rewriting history. I dunno, it's just bizarre to see people turn from, for instance, wholeheartedly believing "MJ is a creepy pedo" to "RIP MJ THRILLER WAS A JAM" when all that changed is them being alive or not
It's also interesting to see the way people will bend their morals or believe whatever narrative suits them best because they're a fan of someone.
What he's accused of his so clearly disgusting but he's still murdered. This isn't justice. I think he should have had the chance to overcome his reputation and make peace with those he has affected. He's 20 years old; his life just started. It's a shame because theres a chance he could've brought something meaningful and good to the world.
No they didn't. Most rappers, especially like those, were not the murderous gang-bangers their music made it seem like. They were artists who wanted to push an image and hung out with gang members and talked about these things, but they were most definitely not. People like Biggie and Tupac didn't even really do that shit, they hung out with gang members and got associated with them to make themselves look the part their music said they were. Tupac shot himself in the thigh because he could barely handle a gun, then lied and said he got shot a bunch by people who just kicked the crap out of him. Shit like that. They were, and are great artists, but the vast majority were just artists.
Also he wasn't trying to change, he was just repeating a lie he had told before to get away with the same shit he had been caught on before.
The only part of your post I can agree with is that it is indeed a shame that someone young was lost to senseless gun violence. Like I said before, Tentacion did not deserve to go out that way. He did deserve a chance to right his wrongs and rehabilitate himself, but he was killed before he could do it.
But am I losing sleep over it? Mmmmmmh nah. Tentacion had a chance to rehabilitate himself, but there was an equal chance he could've continued to be a piece of shit senselessly beating on innocent people for completely arbitrary reasons for the rest of his life. Some charity work doesn't convince me of anything; that's the easiest, lowest-effort way to repair your public image when you have boat loads of money to throw around.
And let's not forget most of the violent crimes those other rappers you named committed were related to gang on gang violence. Which, while still totally reprehensible, are at least a lot more understandable than beating the shit out of your pregnant girlfriend for humming part of his own song that his friend performed in. If those rappers you named did anything similarly awful that I don't know about and they haven't busted their asses to make amends since then, then no I wouldn't really care about them either. Your entire post hinges on the idea that I would care.
I think the lack of hate towards the killer is just because we have no idea who it is at the moment, other than some theories from internet detectives on Twitter. Hard to say much about it other than "it was wrong to do" until we know who it was and why he/she did it.
Posting that you don't care shows that you care about people knowing you don't care.
If you don't care, do like me and don't post about it!
Waitshit
kendrick and ice cube haven't done shit lmao
those accusations were faked after he died, X did all this shit and served time for it. not a proper comparison. Fuck X
He died too soon. He's been turning things around this year, and based on stuff in his social media, he tried his best to spread positivism and wanted to inspire people. A shame his story ended so abruptly.
theres a bunch of people on twitter disputing him beating up his pregnant ex and saying he beat up a gay dude in prison to protect himself.
are they just being stubborn fans or what?
Mannn I didn't want to comment but the twitter stuff is too funny.
Favourite argument is that he died before he could change into a great person, so we shouldn't point out his mistakes because he might just need more time.
Trump might be the best president the USA will ever have.
ISIS might admit they shouldn't have done those naughty things.
Just because you diddled kids, doesn't mean you are a bad person. You just haven't become good one yet.
2018 You the best.
They're probably not even fans. They just believe he did nothing wrong.
Or how about we're dumbing you because you're dumb. You're trivializing human life, NO ONE should be murdered no matter how dumb they are.
I don't understand why this guy has an internet defense force. Some guy in discord just got aggy at me and said he was killed because he rapped about the NWO fkn lmao
Yeah, had a dude on my server call me "edgy" and get super defensive over it just because I said I don't really care lol.
some people just really connected with his music and him as a person unfortunately
that's like every soundcloud rapper
he gained a million new followers over night
