Sad thing is that people cannot seem to separate the artist from the art. Just because they like his music means that they must justify his actions, he cannot be a bad person because he did good music and pushed a very superficial positive message. I love the music of Burzum but Varg Vikernes is a fucking piece of shit and I am not running around justifying his crimes or his actions.
i get what you mean, but i think the issue in this case is just how personal hip hop generally is to the rapper who is making it. 99% of the time, their lyrics are anecdotal, so separating the art from the artist doesn't quite work the same here.
POS he was, NO ONE deserves these dumb vigilantes taking up heinous actions because of someone's ruinous lifestyle. He needed to face the law if may be, not the end of some rando's barrel.
I honestly can't believe it. This is a sad day for hip hop. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgN-vvVVxMA RIP XXX...
Too bad he died instead of going to jail for the shit he did. Oh well, RIP
the good he's done doesn't reverse the pain he's caused. that's one of the most important things you gotta remember if you truly want to change for the better. though he's dead now, there's still other people like him out there, and this should only be acknowledged more.
I don't think people deserve second chances, but I do think they can earn it, and it's pretty damn sad that he lost the opportunity.
He should have gotten a more just punishment for the things he had done prior. He did not deserve to be murdered by someone who felt they were owed or had to do it. You don't have to feel sorry for him, I had no clue who he was until this happened. You should always be concerned that this kind of thing happens at all.
I doubt it was an isolated vigilante killing. More likely the bloodlines run deeper than that.
I dont mean that, it could be anything someone could think was a good reason to murder him. It's not like he attacked someone and they had to defend themselves as far as we know.
Not that it justifies it in any sense of the word, but people like X tend to make a lot of grudges.

Dude was 20, he had plenty of chances to stop being a piece of shit. Sometimes you don't get unlimited chances. Now a homophobic psychopath who beat a pregnant woman nearly to death for his own amusement is dead and the killer will be behind bars soon. That's a net positive.
But he didn't. Which is why he'll be remembered as a horrible person, no matter how hard people try to make him out as some unfairly wronged person who's being unfairly treated because oh my god, shut the hell up.
You are hilariously condescending. I deal with people like this kid every day. Calling people who refuse to lament the death of this violent criminal sheltered while perpetrating this sunshine and daisies worldview that everyone will eventually turn into the Buddha or something is laughable.
How the fuck would you know that I hope you realize the white supremacist sam hyde thing isn't real
How is it nasty? It sucks that he died because it's true that he could maybe have become a better person, but I am not going to cry over his death. It's like, the most reasonable reaction anyone could have over this.
thats funny because his fanbase are massive edgelords
logic at play right here. yeah the dudes shitty, and i wont lie that he is, but it doesn't mean he could've at least cleaned up after this. what he would've done is now gone cause he's dead, but to sit there and say "lol hes dead now and will be remembered as a piece of shit" is kinda really meh when he could've changed or not. all i care is that there is better justice than murder, and if it took justice to clean up for beating his wife, i prefer it especially given his record compared to running up and gunning him down(which let me remind you, no one knows the motive of the person behind the gun, this could have been beef/robbing/etc. not street justice for his wrongdoings).
I'm just getting sick of all these people parroting the same argument that he COULD have cleaned himself up and COULD have become a good person, ergo we should mourn him for the person he COULD have been. Okay, he also COULD have stayed a walking pile of shit but apparently suggesting that is like saying puppies are very kickable or something.
Obviously the world isn't like that, but we should still do our best to get as closest as we can to that reality.
not if my emotions have anything to say about it
Such a bummer that the Columbine shooters died before they were given the chance to make more out of themselves. Now society will only remember them as the dudes that shot up a highschool - absolutely unfair. biggest /s in the world, obviously
If only Elliot Rodger hadn't been chased down and forced to kill himself by some pigs. He was just in a rough spot. You can tell from his videos he was a good dude. He just wanted to be a gentlemen, and now he doesn't have the chance to fix his problems.
embarassing how some people really fell for the "im trying to turn my life around" shit talk coming from xxx's fucking mouth, its called manipulating and anyone who believed it is gullible.
If only there was some other way of stopping people from doing bad things than by killing them. It is a mystery.
Unless he had the mark of Zoro on his chest when they found him, I really don't care that much about the motivation for him being killed. I don't think it's a factor unless there's evidence otherwise.
so what's the takeaway here, should we hope more shitty people get murdered or just be glad when it does happen.
The only reason why people are giving this guy a benefit of a doubt is cause he was a celebrity.
Yeah I love it when people I don't like die horrible deaths too. So many fucking sociopaths here, my fucking god.
