eeeeeehhhhh this kind of sounds like reeducation camp
Look, there isn't exactly epidemic of court-martialled nazi marines so I don't think we should have to worry about throwing the book at him to make him an example that this shit isn't tolerated.
To clarify (and I've already edited my post to do so but I'll do so again here): I'm not the least bit worried about what will happen to him, he's shit. What I AM worried about, are the potential victims if he decides to lash-out in response to people recognizing he's shit, and him not doing anything sensible to fix that.
Basically this. If he decides to get more violent, he's going to end riddled with bullets. And nothing of value to the human race would be lost.
World War 2 wasn't fought over Fascism, nor the Jews. It was fought over Hitler going Full-Charlemagne across Europe. The Holocaust just gave them an excuse to hang a bunch people to send a firm message of "Don't fuck with the British Empire." - Up to that point none ofthe Allies gave a shit about the Jews and I guarantee you at least one of the nations that shan't be named was wondering why they didn't think of that (the Holocaust) first.
Come on, you can name names, it was seventy fucking years ago, basically everyone involved in the discussion is long dead. History happened, name names. There's no sense in gently censoring yourself by refusing to name a nation whose living residents are nearly all too young to have been responsible for such attitudes at the time.
Alright, fine. America, of course. The highest echelons of America's oligarchic-plutocracy (Such as Gerald C. MacGuire) had been in league with the Bunds and openly espousing vicious Anti-Semitism since well before Hitler took power in Germany, nearly culminating in an attempt at a Fascist coup against Roosevelt in 1935. A clique of U.S. industrialists is hell-bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime. ... A prominent executive of one of the largest corporations, told me point blank that he would be ready to take definite action to bring fascism into America if President Roosevelt continued his progressive policies. Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there. Propagandists for fascist groups try to dismiss the fascist scare. We should be aware of the symptoms. When industrialists ignore laws designed for social and economic progress they will seek recourse to a fascist state when the institutions of our government compel them to comply with the provisions.
And that's why it's important to speak up about history. Ignorance of history merely lays the groundwork for it repeating. Hmmm... this is basically the Koch plan, as well as the use of a trade war to build us-versus-them resentment in the broad population. It's no accident that Trump's catchphrase is America First.
I thought he meant the soviets
