Someone please update the OP to say this. This article is 100% false.
Remember when Overwatch first came out?

Their full name is Activision-Blizzard so...
A lot of people seem to forget they are one and the same.
Most PoTGs I run into are basically "They Press Q".
When will Valve patent hats
Except no, Activision and Blizzard both operate separately under the Activision Blizzard parent company. Activision Blizzard =/ Blizzard. Anyway, this whole thing is just ridiculous and more or less can't be even forced if it should go through. Software patents are a big joke.
Software patents were a mistake.
not really, you can easily find stories about open source devs who get their entire program codes plagiarised, and its fair to say if they wanted to patent their code, just not the idea of what their code accomplished, then thats fair.
Isn't code already protected under copyright laws?
An easy way to improve it is by showing actually good plays other than "click click click and the mothafuckas drop"
"easy"
Actibliz owns CoD too. They also own a patent on pay to win matchmaking systems.
This doesn't have sound but I thought this Torbjorn POTG was funnier

Potato, potato. You can say that Blizzard is just a subsidiary that just happens to use the same business practices that their parent company uses, or any other technicallity, it really doesn't change much of anything.
And I really hope they can't pull this off.
