Like I literally wouldn't give a shit if the game didn't have bug that have existed since launch. Though Fallout 4 is way, way worse for this. That game launched with fucking bizarre bugs that clearly show that they rushed it like crazy. Enemies spawning inside of settlements, the performance being hilariously bad, settlement objects not actually being able to be put together, every container containing almost the exact same loot in the exact same quantities, or like "Help us deal with these ghouls that are attacking us nightly". Ghouls in question are ten miles away in a locked building. Or shit like one line of code fucking preventing settlers from knowing where to go. One line that arbitrarily tells them to ignore anything that's not immediately on the same floor as them
Cause they were unsure whether to even add settlements, so they probably didn't test and QA that part of the game as much.
As much as a meme this is, it really puts things into perspective. A simpler time when publishers weren't trying to fuck our wallets in the ass when we just wanted to kill time.

You forgot morrowind, best you add that, lest Toddeth smite thee
I wound up getting Skyrim VR during the steam sales, and I can't believe I'm playing it again for the 20th time after 500+ hours The VR interaction isn't even very good, but there isn't another RPG anywhere near that scale for VR Also, it's already compatible with most Special Edition mods
If Fallout 4 didn't have settlement building, there'd be like, no fucking game, the game is already ultra light on real quests
you forgot to add this version of skyrim to your cart, gotta give him as much as you can. Here's handy links to the DLC for that version too! Dawnguard Hearthfire Dragonborn Do it, or Todd WILL find you
I always felt like people didn't like rereleases because it meant they focused more on that than making another game. With TES VI announced and the fact that the same bugs are still in every port I really feel like porting the game doesn't take much effort on their part.
Not a bug, just bad spawn point placement. That's down to them using very limited loot tables. They could have loot tables for every container but instead they do it based on container 'type', but then some things are lumped into odd groups. Not setting a maximum radius/distance for radiant quests is bad design, not a bug. I love Fallout 4 but a lot of the game's problems are design issues, not bugs. They should have patched the game more (hell they need to patch all of their games more) but a lot of the problems people have wouldn't be fixed in patches because they're like that on purpose.
...None of that should have fucking been okay though. The game is really, really poorly made. With mods it's a riot, but there are universal issues that should never have been in a fucking released game
I didn't say any of it was okay, but 'bug' is not synonymous with 'bad' or 'annoying' design.
I'm sure he's just fucking around because he's aware of the memes now
Never really understood the joke about Skyrim being ported everywhere when Resident Evil 4 exists. It's been on like every single console since the GameCube.

Resi4 doesn't have nearly the amount of bugs, design issues and fundamental mistakes that need to be fixed.
Oh no don't buy that one it'll raise your standards
Todd just seems like a guy who's too passionate. I can't be mad at him, he just loves what he does that much. I feel like his e3 presentations go off-script immediately and everyone back at Bethesda has to scramble to make his whimsy manifest with no warning. "he said WHAT?! Infinite quests?"
With attitudes and fans like this he will continue to bullshit his way into an era of shit tier gaming and radiant quests alike, but hell it's modern day gaming I must be getting fucking old.
ok but like, what about FO3/4/NV and Oblivion/Morrowind for Switch then? I'm sure people would buy.
For a game engine as proprietary as Gamebryo it's probably a bit finicky to get up and running, but I imagine it's a smooth process beyond the initial hurdle. Since the game is (relatively) old by now, most hardware (even the Switch) is able to handle it with ease, so optimization isn't really necessary, and that's more than likely the part that takes the longest when it comes to ports.
