Some of the student protests during the coalition ended in violence too, but this will probably more closely resemble the Women's Marches or even the 2003 Iraq War protest, which didn't go violent.
Sorry but I'm going to need more than one example from 7 years ago before I buy the idea that London is more prone to violence and looting than any other capital city in the world.
thats the point
Its going to be a shitshow when trump is there and its only going to fuck with the locals.
I wouldn't be surprised if Trump tried to have the Secret Service do what Erdogan's goons do.
Do football riots count?
I went along to the protests in London today and weirdly enough I saw barely any cops at all. I probably only saw about a dozen in my entire time at the march. I guess most of them were in reserve or specific high security locations.
they can hate trump all they want, but at least we won't get arrested for butter knives or putting rap lyrics on social media profiles
It wasn't about "Hurr we're better than you! Let's all laugh at America!" at all. In fact the protest was just as much aimed at our own government and its failings as it was aimed at how despicable Trump is, with plenty of flak being thrown at May and her government as well as Brexit.
'we have x things thus problems don't exist'
Lol literally nothing happened
Gotta love low level fear mongering
