I have resorted to playing FiveM to get my online fix.
I mean, there's our very own Garry's Mod, but I see your point
I keep hearing about it, what makes it special?
Only time I have fun in GTAV MP is FiveM.
Every play SAMP or MTA? Its modded the all hell and allows for custom gamemodes via scripting.
I started playing GTA:O last week, I haven't really gotten to see everything yet but I think its not that much effort to log in and supply your weed farm. Ps if you change your graphic settings to something that takes 20 seconds to apply it seamlessly puts you in a public lobby with only yourself, I found it more enjoyable exploring things alone personally. I guess most people here played as it came out and got their fix. This enterprise edition throws all sorts of pacing out the window by letting you pay to win, kinda upsettting.

I dread to see how GTA VI will look like. But I will not buy it I learned my lesson. Give someone too much and they take the whole hand. ex. Valve
they're just admitting its all about GTAO now.
It always annoyed me how much they ignored the offline game especially with the new content, like there's no reason they couldn't impliment things like player garages and 3/4ths of all the online cars, they already exist in the game they just choose not to
fuck GTAO
The absolute best thing that could happen to Rockstar is T2 collapses and they manage to survive and create their own publishing studio for themselves.
It's probably fine on console, where you can leave your house without exploding because someone across the map hit a keybind. The grind sucks, but some of the activities are worth playing with friends, and I could see some worth in it. I'd play it myself if Rockstar could guarantee a worthwhile, semi-hacker-free experience. But they can't, so I don't care.
It was always about GTA:O. GTA V's single player was a largely forgettable experience, and no "story DLC" can save it.
85 dollars for the least interesting part of the game?!
I get that the multiplayer can be fun, somehow, but this is just a money sink, plain and simple.
And I HATE how all the later updates for GTAV are all for multiplayer. All the new vehicles, weapons, this, that, all multiplayer. You can't even get them legitemaly in the singleplayer to have private fun or anything. What good is that?
OH right... you can't whore out people if you don't make them buy shark cards for cars that cost upwards of a million ingame....
Trash.
I wish there was a battle Royale mode for gtao
There was and it sucked.
I still continue to play GTAO, but I probably only enjoy it so much because I play it alongside 4 of my other friends, and we use Session Sweeper to separate ourselves from other players into a solo public lobby, where we can lock them out and play together in peace.
