I looked into that and apparently he lives on loan utilizing a remortgaging scheme where he buys up an area, sells a few houses for a massively inflated price then remortgages the others to the inflated houses price (he's telling the bank my houses are worth more so pay me more) and then rents them out, rinse and repeat. multiply this effect by how many neighborhoods you own and you essentially can get to multimillionaire status in untaxed mortgage loans while also making a comfortable living off of rents.
