At one time Alex Jones was as innocent as the rest of us. Living a relatively care free life until he fell into the rabbit hole: The domain of mania and grandeur.
I think at the start he was a generic loony militia type. He got his start defending the Branch Davidian cult during the Waco siege. Since then he expanded to the point of supporting absolutely every conspiracy theory, now he's actually backed off slightly because he no longer believes in left wing conspiracy theories.
