I could see it but low visibility due to my close proximity to Hamburg...

Managed to catch the blood moon but light pollution was pretty bad in the cities (obviously). I'm currently observing the partial lunar eclipse from my room.
15 minutes until it starts here and it has been totally cloudy for almost 2 days with no sign of clearing right now. Same here. 10 minutes until it starts here and it has been totally cloudy for almost 2 days with no sign of clearing right now. Live stream will be, then.

Sadly I don't have any actually suitable lens (wanted to loan an 85mm from a friend, but they're out of the country), but I ended up with a couple of usable shots. Here's the best, pretty much: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/185359/e797606c-a28e-4c42-ad01-bdf86ae5c827/image.png (Mars on the bottom)

I can't even pretend to understand cameras or optics all that well so what the heck did you do to achieve that
What are your settings?
Living in a place currently experiencing a polar day (aka daylight @ midnight), it's not exactly the ideal conditions for this sort of stuff. The moon was also extremely low in the horizon, so the atmospheric haze was at its absolute thickest. There was no way I was going to see much of the redness, or the dark bits of the moon, but here's my results anyways: http://puu.sh/B4hDs.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/490/740bd9c7-6973-4ffe-83ce-277db9683f3c/Untitled_Panorama2.jpg https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/490/b6d662e8-af5b-4acf-a555-936c5b9c6834/Untitled_Panorama1.jpg
Shit, that's so cool. Looks like a photo taken from another planet or something. Lovely colours as well.
Just waiting for the actual telescope Facepunchers to drop by
Aaaaaaand of course whenever something magical happens in the sky, it becomes grey and miserable here in the UK :V
Suicide isn't the answer.
It still looks cool as shit.
